Principal Welcome

I am pleased to be leading our exceptional faculty, devoted staff and enthusiastic students filled with curiosity to learn through this academic year. Now entering into our 66th year, and my 10th as principal, we are proud of our many accomplishments, but we also recognize our great potential. We continue to challenge ourselves to be a leader among local schools. We are excited about being a fully Authorized Catholic International Baccalaureate World School for both the Primary and Middle Grades.

The school theme this year is, “Reflecting God’s Kindness!” There will be many opportunities for our students, staff, parents, and guardians to get involved in bringing this theme to life through service projects and special events throughout the year. We are excited to focus on “GROWTH in FAITH” after finishing last school year’s theme of “Growing Together in Faith”. All of us have learned a great deal throughout the years before, during, and after a pandemic that has forced us to discern and reflect on our need for each other and the impact of showing “kindness” has on all of us. This year, we will reflect on the growth we have made and how important it is to celebrate accomplishments. Taking care of each other, and living out our mission to be Inquiring Minds, Hearts for Jesus, and Hands for Service reflects our vibrant culture and community. Our faith in God is portrayed in this children’s Bible quote: “Lord and Source of All Gifts, we rejoice in the fullness of Your holy generosity. We thank You especially now for the gift of change, that gift of newness that opens doors closed by habit and routine.” We want to demonstrate the importance of how a Catholic International Baccalaureate education, grounded in Gospel values, nurtures reflection, rejuvenation, and renewal as we create opportunities for inquiry and critical thinking.

This challenge is both personal to each member of our close-knit community and communal. Together we strive to advance: the truth of our Catholic faith; the value of making meaning out of the knowledge gained and transferring it to familiar and unfamiliar settings; the security of a nurturing community environment, and the importance of reinforcing the values of our faith-filled family.

If you are a new visitor, I encourage you to consider joining us in our endeavor. I hope you find this website helpful, but I also invite you to visit our school to spend a little time with some of our faculty and students. Please don't hesitate to contact us to arrange for a visit.

If you are already a member of our community, I hope you find this website merits your valuable time and enlivens your enthusiastic school spirit. Welcome, it is going to be an amazing year "Reflecting God's Kindness".

God Bless,
