Learning Resource Center
At St. Luke School, we embrace the uniqueness of each child, recognizing that all students possess diverse learning styles, along with their own sets of strengths and challenges. Our seasoned educators employ a wide array of strategies to foster academic growth, aiming to promote student achievement and overall success.
Diverse Strategies for Academic Growth
We employ a wide range of strategies, such as small group instruction and differentiation techniques, to promote academic development. Our committed Learning Resource Specialists collaborate closely with educators from Pre-K through Grade 8 to offer comprehensive support to students, ensuring the effective implementation of recommended classroom accommodations.
To address varying tiers of student needs, some may engage in personalized, one-on-one, or small group academic interventions outside the classroom. Embracing a collaborative team approach, our staff closely partners with parents and external professionals to ensure that every student's unique learning needs are met.
As students progress through the grades, they acquire valuable skills and strategies that empower them to become self-advocates, enabling them to reach their personal life goals effectively.
Our Collaborative Approach with Local Public Schools and Title Programs
We take great pride in our collaboration with local public schools and Title programs, which offers eligible students and their families the opportunity to access tutoring services and explore the initiation of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or an Individualized Service Plan (ISP). If you have any questions or require guidance on the process of partnering with a local public school, pursuing private neuropsychological evaluations, or seeking private ABA, speech, or OT support, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. Your child's educational journey remains our utmost priority, and we are here to provide support in every possible way

Search Institute has identified 40 positive supports and strengths that young people need to succeed. Half of the assets focus on the relationships and opportunities they need in their families, schools, and communities (external assets). The remaining assets focus on the social-emotional strengths, values, and commitments that are nurtured within young people (internal assets).
