2024-25
S.T.E.M. Program

For Girls and Boys in grades 3rd - 5th

This robotics program uses the building kits, curriculum and games designed by VEX IQ to facilitate a challenging hands on after school program.  By its nature, the study of robotics inherently incorporates all four pillars of STEM.  VEX IQ is a snap-together robotics system designed from the ground up to provide this opportunity to future engineers of all skill levels.

Teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to compete in a game-based engineering challenge.  Teams are made up of 4 students and a mix of boys and girls is encouraged at all levels.  By packaging advanced concepts into an accessible package, the VEX system also naturally encourages teamwork, problem solving, and leadership.
