Speech & Debate Team
The St. Luke School Speech Team has a long history of developing public speaking skills in a fun, supportive way. Weekly team meetings after school are designed to help students develop and improve speech techniques. The Team also attends local tournaments to compete with students from other schools.
​Speech & Debate Teams are open to all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
Cost $100 per student
Why join the Speech + Debate Team?

- Learn how to create and defend an argument.
- Get a head start on high school & college skills.
- Earn scholarships!
The Speech and Debate Team season runs from September through end of February.
- Debate Team will begin on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025.
Members meet Tuesdays 2:15 - 3:30 pm and Thursdays after school 3:15-4:30 pm
- Speech Team will begin on Wednesday, September 10th 2025.
Members meet Wednesdays after school 3:15-4:30 pm

Speech & Debate Team Registration
Team Fees: $100 for Speech Team and/or Debate Team.
This fee covers meetings and all tournament fees for students throughout the season.
